Like a lot of other reviewers, I love the fact that it is cordless. It makes it a lot easier to get ready not having to be "connected" at all times. That being said, what I'm not fond of however is that the clip itself doesn't have enough tension, so to find the right balance of hair sections could be a bit frustrating and for people with super fine hair, it could just be completely maddening since your hair will slip right through the clip. If it was just a hair bit tighter, that would make it perfect - just a little bit. Battery life on a charge? Yea, pretty short for what you're paying for: 35-40mins if you work fast enough. I have long thick hair and can usually curl the bottom half of my hair before I need to plug it in to keep going and finish it out (keep hair type & texture in mind) - meaning the sections I'm using are somewhat chunky, so my hair has to stay against the iron longer in order to curl and damaging it faster.
All said & done, I still like this cordless curling iron because there is no other like it on the market right now. I've currently just been using it for touch-ups if I have to go to some sort of gathering after work, so it's GREAT for that but as a fully independent curling iron to be used for full head of curls/waves, it's not quite there yet. Maybe once there is a newer version with a higher capacity battery that allows for 1hr usage per charge, as well as a better clip, then I'll revisit purchasing another one. For now, it's a complement to my already existing curling iron that works great for most hair needs.
