Four Ways to Glow Up Your Hair Routine

Are you looking to glow up? Check out our fundamental hair hacks for shiny, strong hair!

Most people can get away without daily shampooing. In fact, we shouldn’t be shampooing more than a few times a week. Unless your hair is visibly greasy or dirty, opt for our favourite hair hack: use a dry shampoo.

Our Give Me Life Volumizing Dry Shampoo is a great choice to use between wash days. It can also be a styling product to give your hair a lift at the roots and some natural texture.

For post-workout grease try the Make Me Last Dry Shampoo, which includes rice starch – a key ingredient to mopping up oil and grease.

Our Make Me Last Dry Shampoo is also great to tote when you’re on the run – take the miniature on camping trips, the gyms and your future holidays.

You won’t get the glow up hairstyle you want with the highest heat setting. Our Lunata Styler Plus+ WWC and Lunata Cordless Convertible Curling Iron/Wand are made of titanium, which is an excellent conductor of heat and can retain high temperatures quickly.

Both have adjustable temperature ranges from 200-450ºF, to easily customize the temperature to best suit your hair type and hair texture. If you’ve got fine and straight hair, protect your hair by sticking to the lower end of the temperature range to style hair into waves or straighten it.

Don’t forget to assess your hair’s current state – if it’s less robust and prone to snapping, stay well under the maximum temperature!

The best way to rid yourself of post-shower tangles? Brush hair first. Our Detangle Me Wet/Dry Brush can be used before and after the shower. Before the shower, brush starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots to get rid of knots.

After the shower, gently wring your hair of water. Too much will make your hair more vulnerable and prone to snapping.

It’s best to brush through hair that has been conditioned. If you have damaged hair or curly hair, brush through hair that’s saturated in leave-in conditioner. Together with the Detangle Me Wet/Dry Brush, brushing your wet hair shouldn’t be a painful–or scary–process.

Glowing up can be an inside job. If you’re still working from home, take advantage of your kitchen and make yourself healthy meals.

Better nutrition has knock-on effects on your skin and hair–making both radiant and robust.

Prepping healthy meals doesn’t need to take much effort or time. Create salads or light meals with proteins and healthy fats–think avocado toast with nuts and seeds, a vegetarian omelette and vegetable-packed quiche bites!
