Spring Cleaning Your Beauty Routine
It’s time. Roll up your sleeves and block off the weekend. It’s time to spring clean your bathroom and beauty routine!
If tackling these areas are thankless tasks that leave you in stress hives, read on for a few low-effort/high-reward categories to clean in a few hours!
TOSS BRUSHES WITH BROKEN BALLS AND BRISTLES
Round up all your brushes and combs and do a ruthless cull. From the ones in your handbag, your gym bag and the ones littering your house–do a thorough evaluation. Are your brushes still in good condition? Are any bristles missing? Are there broken bristles?

GIVE YOUR LIPSTICKS A SNIFF TEST
With many of us refraining from wearing lipstick lately, it’s worth checking to see if any of yours have gone off.
Round them up and do a sniff test. For those that pass the sniff test, do a visual test for any discolouration or signs of mold. And if you end up swatching, notice any changes in texture or crumbling.
For any remaining lipsticks, it can help to do a wear test to see if there are any colours you just don’t like anymore!

REVISIT YOUR NAIL POLISH COLLECTION
If you’re a standard gel wearer, maybe it’s time to give your nail polish collection away.
If you’ve rediscovered your polish and are doing your own manicures, round up your polish. Look out for any separation in the polish or goopy texture. If you still want to keep the formula, set them aside.
TOSS ANY OLD SUNSCREEN
This is not a spring clean, but a total overhaul. Toss the bottles from last summer that are still lurking in your bathroom corners. They can go.
