Valentine's Day date hairstyles
It’s official–you have a date for Valentine’s Day. If you’re going to meet for the first time, or if you’re going to be meeting at all there can be all sorts of butterflies that have nothing to do with love.
SAFE MEETING TIPS
Obey health guidelines
Follow your city’s health guidelines when it comes to meeting limitations, masking regulations, curfews and everything else.
Distancing
Opt for places that aren’t so busy or meet for dates when people aren’t bustling about, like in the early morning. Romantic and safe? We can fully support that!
Communicate and take it slow
Expect your date or partner to be up front with their contacts and expect to do the same with them.

SOCIALLY DISTANT VALENTINE’S DAY DATE IDEAS
Couldn’t snag a Valentine’s Day dinner reservation? We’ve got a few safe and creative in-person Valentine’s Day date ideas to spend with your loved one!
Do a foodie walkabout
Not keen on indoor dining? Opt to do a foodie tour and pick a few restaurants to get dishes to go. Enjoy at a park, while you walk or find a bench or steps to get to know your date and enjoy your meal!
Head out for a hike
Enjoy the fresh air with an outdoor date. Get to know your date on the trail and depending on the length of your hike, break for a nice picnic!
Go camping
Camp out in a van or rent out a cabin for a weekend away from the city. If you live in a place without travel constraints, this is a great way to spend the weekend.
VALENTINE’S DAY DATE HAIRSTYLES
Playful double braids
Great for: active, outdoor dates
Use the Belisa by Lunata 1” Cordless Curling Iron With Clip or Belisa by Lunata 1” Cordless Curling Wand to create allover curls. Once curls have cooled, section the hair off to create two braids. Secure the braids with an elastic when the braid hits the nape of your neck. Take a bit of hair to wrap around the elastic. Leave the ends loose and curly!
Easy curly up-do
Great for: day dates
A low, textured bun is the perfect go-to hairstyle for day dates. Use the Belisa by Lunata 1" Cordless Curling Wand to create loose curls. After curls have cooled, gather hair into a loose low bun!
Chic French twist
Great for: dinner dates
This classic hairstyle can be done curly or straight. If you choose to go for a curly French twist, let curls cool before you put hair into an up-do. Use the Belisa by Lunata 1" Cordless Curling Iron With Clip for defined curls.
Once hair is cool, gather hair to one side. Secure hair at the centre of the nape of your neck with several hairpins. Twist the rest of the hair back to the centre and secure hair with more bobby pins.
Finish with hairspray!
